PROVEYANCE.COM PRIVACY STATEMENT - MAY 2005
In most cases, while browsing at proveyance.com you will not be asked to provide any information about yourself.
Unless you provide any information, we only observe your IP address. But sometimes we do need information to provide
services that you request, and this statement of privacy addresses those situations.
- Collecting Information - In order to provide service to you, you may be asked to provide
information that will help us identify you as a customer and for other more obvious reasons, such as needing
shipping information, etc. This information may be requested when making a purchase, entering a promotion,
or when requesting support. Personal information collected by proveyance.com is usually limited to your
e-mail address. However, additional information may be collected in order to fulfill a service request.

Proveyance will NOT share your information with third parties except as needed to fulfill a service request.
We may need to share your information with a third party as needed to fulfill a particular service request. For example,
if you procure Proveyance services to set-up your web site hosting account with a third party, we will need to share some
sensitive information with the host provider in order to fulfill your request.

save cookie values to your hard disk if it needs to, but that is the limit of the effect on your system. As a visitor to our
site, you always reserve the right to delete our cookie manualy or simply refuse it.
- Changes to this Statement - Proveyance reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement

SECURITY
-
Whenever entering sensitive personal information (such as credit card numbers) at any website, make sure that the
website encrypts the information you send to, and receive from it. When you shop at an online retailer's site your
sensitive information is secured through the use of a security key and SSL encryption, the most common web site
security method in use today. At the point of entering sensitive information, check to make sure the URL in the
address field of your browser begins with "https" rather than "http". A lock icon should appear in the bottom right
corner of your browser.
-
A well-designed web site will only present secure pages as needed to encrypt sensitive data. You should not be
alarmed if most of your visit to proveyance.com is spent on unsecured pages. No page within this site will request
sensitive data from you at any time.
- What about security of your customer's information? - Proveyance does everything in its
power to protect customer information off-line. All customer information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who
need the information to perform their job (for example, a programmer setting up the commerce transaction portion of a
project) are granted access to that information. Furthermore, all employees are provided up-to-date security and
privacy practices. Our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place upon security and privacy,
and what they can do to ensure customer information is protected.
-
Finally, the servers where we store personal information are password protected and loaded with multiple, redundant security features.
